Acupuncture may ease joint pain in breast cancer patients treated with aromatase inhibitors.
The Los Angeles Times (3/4, Stein) "Booster Shots" blog reported that, according to a paper published in the Journal of Clinical Oncology, women who "were being treated with aromatase inhibitors for breast cancer and were also experiencing musculoskeletal pain" saw "a significant decrease in the severity of their pain" and "improvement in their overall physical well-being" after undergoing acupuncture that specifically targeted their joints.
